The Honors Program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers an enriched plan of study to highly motivated students who have the capacity to excel academically and a strong and abiding determination to reach their greatest intellectual potential. We would love to invite you to apply to our program if you meet the minimum conditions below:
3.5 GPA equivalent or top 15% of high school class, plus one of the following:
26 or greater ACT Composite or
1,200 or greater SAT Score (math + critical thinking)
For those students that are freshmen of transfer students, you can apply to TAMU-CC through the ApplyTexas common university application. The last question will ask if you wish to receive more information and you will be directed here. For current TAMU-CC students and new/propsective students, you can click the link above or click Application on the navigation bar, which will take you to a secure form in order to complete a follow-up application. Once your application is complete, the Honors Director and Program Coordinator will review these on a rolling basis throughout the semester and make admissions decisions. We will have an open house in fall and spring for potential applicants and you can find our contact information on the website and reach out to us at any time with questions about the Program. Scholarship awards for those accepted to the program will be made as part of any other need or merit based aid package you will receive from Enrollment Management towards the end of the fall term. The Program awards additional scholarship funds on a competitive basis.
