President's Welcome

Welcome Honors Students!

This year, I would like to focus on what it means to be an Honors Student. The summer has flown by quickly and the officers and I have been working on a number of over-lapping projects to help solidify our programs place, both on campus and in the community. In my mind, being an honors student means excelling inside the classroom and beyond. To encourage this, the Honors Student Association will be providing many opportunities for volunteering in and around Corpus Christi; encourage the use of school resources to attend conferences and study abroad; give occasions for socializing with other honors students outside of the classroom; and work together to uplift and transform our student association through regular meetings and seminars. I know that this is going to be a fantastic year for the Honors Program here at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi!
